This book. THIS BOOK. I think a story really touches a reader when they can really relate to it. For me, this story hit home because of my daughter. She doesn't have agoraphobia like Nora, but some of the distress that Nora suffers are things I have witnessed in my daughter. Most notably: anxiety and panic attacks. To have a peek inside Nora's head, I could understand more of what my daughter goes through when the weight of the world presses her into exile and, sometimes, depression. And I thank Gornall for that insight.Aside from that link, Gornall's writing is wonderful, witty, and gives the reader all the feels. The FEELS! I loved the connection between Nora and Luke. I especially liked Nora's mother—but then again, I have my reasons. This book made me feel so many things, and it was an amazing ride.
