Selten hat mich ein Buch über Projektmanagement dazu verleitet, eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Und meistens wäre die Motivation dazu eher gewesen, meine Enttäuschung über den jeweiligen Grenz-Nutzen mitzuteilen. Das vorliegende Buch jedoch enthält nicht nur Scrum Theorie, sondern auch viele konkrete Hinweise, wie Scrum in der Praxis funktionieren kann, die die Theorie meistens schuldig bleibt. Außerdem spricht aus vielen Nebensätzen die tiefe Erfahrung in Softwareprojekten, die auf eine erfrischende Weise auf den Punkt gebracht wird. Vielen erfahrenen Projektleitern, die sich mit Scrum als Alternative zum Wasserfall auseinandersetzen, wird er aus der Seele sprechen. Den Protagonisten "Master Sensei" hätte es nicht unbedingt gebraucht, aber er lockert das Buch etwas auf. Volle Punktzahl von mir!
Wenn Du schon mal von agiler Entwicklung gehört hast und auf die Kampfschulkunst mehr in den Prozess von XP eingeführt werden möchtest schau in dieses Buch rein. Besonders das Fazit am Ende eines Kapitels in der Form des Lehrer-Schüler-Gesprächs ist sehr gelungen und mit praktischen Fakten aus dem Alltag geprägt.
